how to run a Christmas workshop...

Take 8 lovely ladies,
1 Matthew and 1 Sue,
wire rings,
large bag of moss,
loads of blue spruce,
8 pairs of rubber gloves,
florist scissors or secateurs,
reel wire,
lattes and biscuits
but most importantly a lot of fun, laughter and chatter.

For two mornings now, Matthew has run his Christmas workshops.
Making wreaths and table centres with lovely ladies who have travelled down from town, up from the coast or from the next village.

All have a lot of fun and go home to adorn the front door with their festive creation.  For some it's an annual gathering of friends and others the beginning of their Christmas preparations.

One more workshop is due to be held next Thursday evening, when we will be having a glass of bubbly whilst more door wreaths will be made.  Matthew has threatened to install a squealometer!!

Sunday 28th November is the first Sunday in advent

the three wise robins

whilst some are waxing lyrical about cyclamen, we will do our bit for the helleborus niger - love their pure white petals which fade to green (rather than grey)

deer, quail and blackbirds with crowns on - of course
